C. Moilatt (6 A.J.S. and sido car) made up tlie three nien who did not officially finish, although all got ..home. Up to Cheviot all the men except.those mentioned had non-stops on the homo run; -and it is unofficially stated that this good record wivs continued until Christchurch was reached. There was a control at Cheviot, where tanks were filled for the petrol consumption test, whifch took place between there and Joyce's garago in Armagh street, the finishing point. . . .
