BLENHEIM, April ""• i Tho Annual Championsliip Regatta under the auspices of the New Zoalmid Amateur Rowing Association wa« held at Picton today in ideal weather, the wator being very smooth. Results:—

Maiden Fouro—Waitemata 1, Christchurch Union (Velvin, Drayton, Mann, and Murch) 2, Ir-icton 3. Wairau, Blenheim, a_nd Wanganui Un.on also started. Nearing tho post Waitemata held a two lengths lead. Bow caught a, crab, but the crow had euffcient in hand to win by a foot. Picton waa half a length away.

CHAMPION FOURS. Two Mileg. Wanganui Union (Wad-nan, Byla_nd, Coombs, and W. Sh_u_e) .. 1 Wairau (Adams, Chandler, F. Gill, end E. Gill) .. ....* .. 2 Picton (Burns, Jackson, Collina-, and Patterson) .. .. .. .. 3 Blenheim also competed. It was a splendid race. Blenheim led till half the distance had been covered, and then fell back beaten. Wanganui, rowing eplend.dly, drew ahead, and won fairly easily by two and a half lengths. Only a few feet separated Waira-a _nd Picton. CHAMPION SCULLS. One Mile and a half. D. HadSeld (Waitemata) .-. .. 1 A. Sharp© fvVanganui Union) .. 3 H. Sharp© (Wanganui Union) .. 3 K. Aimer (St. George's) also _t___.ted. Hadficld led from start to finish, winning by four lengths. Youths' Foot—Wairau 1, Wanganui 2, Picton 3. CHAMPION PAIRS. One Mile and a Half. Picton (Perano and Burns) .. .. 1 Wanganui Union (Wadman and Coombs) 2 The only starters. Picton went off with the lead, which they maintained throughout, winn-ng by three lengths.
