TO-DAY'S PROGRAMME.
Good acceptances were received last night for the second day, and, with the exception of the Peers-wick Hurdles, for which four only have accepted, tho fields are representative of the Dominion's best. In the Autumn Handicap, Ladoga, Waretep, Multiply, First Glance, and Banksia will probably carry the bulk of the investments, and in the X_*hallen_e Stakes a firstclass field contains the names of Emperador (a previous winner of the race), Sauci, Nightwatch, Flying Start, Battle Eve, Croesus, Down, and ono or two others of lesser note, who may help in making the race ope of the most interesting on the day's card. Daylight Bill, Marc Antony, Bellshire, The Pole, Peg, Magdala. Charmilla, Derby Day, Chortle, and Sartorze are others engaged whose efforts will be followed with much attention. The usual train and tram service will be in commission, and racing will commence at 12 noon.
