It is anticipated that work will bo found for a thousand women in the engineering and anna-, ment factories on the Clyde. Several firms have already experimented with females in manufacturing -shells and explosives. Thoy have shown remarkable aptitude. Glasgow proposes to employ women tramway conductors on the same terms tts men! .
