THE TERRITORIALS.
Ist (C.V.C.) REGIMENT CAMP,
The Ist (C.V.C.) Regiment will go into camp on tho Glenmark estate at Waipara to-day. Major "Deans will bo in charge of the camp, and Captain Northcote will act as adjutant. Three hundred and fifty men are expected to go under canvas, and tho camp will break up on Thursday. April Bth. The work to be done will consist principally of squadr« training and attack practice. A squadron from the Peninsula will arrivo in Christchurch to-day, and with B Squadron and part of C Squadron, leav- the city by special train for Waipara. The remainder of C. Squadron will leave Rangiora by the ordinary train for - the encampment.
E BATI-__l-T UNDER CANVAS
Work at the E Battery Camp at Rangiora during the last few days has mainly consisted of field manoeuvres, standing gun drill, and riding exercises. Tho men are shaping well, and the officers express themselves as well pleased with results. This morning target practice will be held on Mr Blackett's farm, on tho Upper Loburn road.
