The Appeal Court to-day heard tho petition of Frederick AVhitcombo, accountant, of Christclrureh. for readmission as a barrister and solicitor oii tho Supreme Court. Petitioner iras struck off tho roll in "Western Australia in 1900, and subsequently in Mew Zealand in 1902. The Court made an order for re-admission on condition that the petitioner acknowledges by declaration that some of the money which was misappropriated is still duo. and that tho costs of the New Zealand Law Society in prior proceedings, and also seven guineas in tho present petition, bo paid within three months.
