COURTENAY A. AXD P. ASSOCIATION. A meeting of members of the Courtonay A. and P. Association was held m the Kinveo Hall on Saturday evening, for the purpose of discussing fully the dissatisfaction existing about various departments of the Show. Mr \\ . Frizzell presided ''over a large attendance, and the following sugges- : tirms, to bo brought forward at the [ annual meeting to be held in April, •were carried, most of them unanimously:—That the upset price for flock rams in the selling class be raised from 3igs to ogs. That the class for live ewo hoggets bo reduced to three hoggets. That a class bo added for three ewe hoggets for competitors who have never won a first prize. That <-iasses bo added for best fat sheep, any ' age. That the prize money be raked iin all classes for horses. Mr LorgeUy I offering to supplement the first prize for draught eta 11 ions by one guinea. That special fences for Jumping ponies be erected, not exceeding 3ft in height. That the class for jumping ponies be altered to a class for jumping cobs and ponies, not over 14 hands 3in. That all farm implements for exhibition be allowed on the ground free of charge. That tho Gough Cup be given for most points won by exhibitors outside the produce shed. That all members tickets bo 'ent ouj, at least six weeks before the date of tho Show. That the president be elected by ballot. That the secretary's entries, if any, be handed to tho president at, least 24 hours beloro entries close.
