THE NEWTOWN MURDER
ACCUSED CONFESSES,

WELLINGTON March 5.
Charles Harvey, on remand, appeared at the Magistrate's Court charged with the murder of an old Chinese fruiterer on September 12th last. The nolice asked tor a further remand as Harvey had confessed to the crime and an opportunity was desired of investigating some Of his statements."
