YACHT AND SUBMARINE STORY.
AMSTERDAM. March 3. A report is being circulated that a private yacht fired on the German submarine U2l in St. George's Chan•ncl. The statement is possibly being promulgated in Germany's desire to justify hvr submarines in sinking everything at sight. (Received March oth, 1.0 a.m.) IiOXDO.N, March 4. The ''Daily Chronicle says the yacht that ehclled the submarine has been employed on patrol work since tho war bep,an. She sighted a submarine at five thousand yards, and fired nine shots from S-potmdors' The crew are certain some were effective.
