GREAT RESPONSE BY' OXFORD

AND CAMBRIDGE

LONDON, March 2. Mr Lloyd George inspected a section of tho Welsh Army Corps. He stated that eighty thousand Welshmen had joined tho new army.

Mr Asqaith, speaking in the House of Commons, said that six thousand Oxford and Cambridge University students had joined tho Army, including eighty out of eighty-nine "Blues."
