Tho star comedy. /'Goodness Gracious," Tras the principal item in the new programme presented at the Globe Theatre yesterday. This film • was shown some tinie back at His Majesty's Theatre, and it achieved then a very wide popularity. Its welcome repetition should add to that popularity. It is a picture brimful of fun without being at all silly, and it certainly Tirovided vast enjoyment to the many patrons who witnessed it yesterday. Another picture to occupy a prominent place on the. programme was "Surf Bathing in Australia." This was a splendid production, and showed most elaborately all that goes to raako, up one of the most picturesque and exhilarating sports in the Southern Hemisphere. The '"'Australian Gazette," an exclusive topical, contained a number of recent pictures taken in the bis centres and in other parts of Australia. A domestic tragedy, "The Human Tipress," several comedies, and a selection of war pictures completed a .firstclass programme. The theatre will be onen at the usual hours to-day, when the same films will be screened.
