Thore was, a crowded houso at His Majesty's Theatre last night, when the new Hay ward Picture programme was put on. The star item was a Keystone iarce-comedy, "Caught, in a. Cabaret." In the comedy Charles Chaplin, one of the best-known Keystone artists, takes the leading ■ part. His work was a positive treat to watch, and ho is an undoubted - master of comedy in action. He was 6plendidly supported by a first-class company, which included Mabel Normand, a very well-known and most popular American actress. The film produced roars, of laughter and received" prolonged "applause at its conclusion. Other pictures shown included "Wild Birds in Scotland," an-interesting Nature study, "Heez-a-Liar's Game Hunt," another of a popular series of burlesques, "The Coward's Sacrifice" (drama),- "Every Man has his Pride" (Western drama), "Bully Hoy,' , a new' selection of war cartoons,/'The Old Maid's Baby" (comedy), "Food for Dogs, of War," showing the manufacture of 5 arms and ammunition, and tholatest Gaumont War Graphic.
