MEXICO AND THE WAR
SPEECH CAUSES A STIR.
(Received January 12th. 12.00 a m.) WASHINGTON, .January 11. President AVilson has produced a commotion in political circles by declaring in a speech at Indianapolis that m> far as he was concerned. Mexico might continue to stew in her own juice. European Powers could spill as much blood as they pleased in settling their affairs, and Mexico should Jiavo the same freedom. He was proud to belong to a great nation that said: "This is a country wo could crush, but it shall havo as much freedom in ite own affairs as we have."
