MR FISHER'S VISIT TO CHRISTCHURCH.

The Right Hon. Andrew Fisher, Prime Minister of Australia, who is at present on a. visit- to New Zealand, will arrive in Christchurch from Wellington this morning and will spend tho day in town. At noon he will be accorded a civic reception by the Mayor, and at 1 p.m. he wiJl bo the guest of tho New Zealand Club at luncheon. Mr Fisher will for the •South by the lirst express to-morrow morning. In response to representations made to him in Wellington oy the Mayor (Mr H. Holland), on behalf of the Labour leaders in Christchurch, Mr Fisher has agreed to meet members and representatives of industrial organisations in the Council Chambers at 12.40 to-day, immediately after the civic reception.
