The- wools offered were slightly heavier in condition as a rule than those offered previously this seaeoiv and tto bulk s " owed a fair amount of earth and sand. , For three-quarlerbrcds and crosebreds bidding was extremely animated,' and these sold at from Jd to l£d per lb over last salo prices, but halforeds, especially supers, did not meet with euch keen competition, and in somo cases vrere down fully Id per Ib. Pieces, belliee, and locks sold well right through the eales. , However, we think that farmers should be extremely pleased with results, and can congratulate themselves on tho way the icarket .'or Canterbury wool hae held up.
