I fully accept the explanation you offer of the discrepancy in the. report of Kottman's confession as compared with that which appeared in the "Lyttelton Times." From your statement" however, it would eeem desirable to have somewhere a clearinghouse for Press Association report*, so as to secure uniformity in what is published under its name. —Yours, etc.. \V.
