The following points' prizes were, awarded in connexion with tho recent show of the Temuka. Floral and Horticultural Society:—Cut flowers, Class A: Mr A. Hope, 32 points. 1; Mr A. C. Watson, 30 points, 2. Fruit. Class A: Messrs J. Wright and J. T. Smart, equal, 14 points each. Vegetables, Class A: Mr Vernall, 24. points, 1. Cut flowers.. Class B: Mr A. Hope, 4b' points. 1. Fruit, Class B: Mr J. Wright, 10 points. 1. Vegotab.es, Class B: Mr Vernall. 30 points, 1.
A moetin-*-; of the directors of thoTemuka Caledonian Socioty was held on Friday evening, the president. Mr Geo. Hancox, being in the chair. The balance-sheet in connexion with tho late sports w r as submitted, showing a credit of £40 12s od. The balancesheet for the dance held in the evening showed a- credit of £5 12s 6d. A vote of thanks was passed to all those who had given donations. It was resolved to hold a plain and fancy dress ball on Thursday, July 29th.
