"When a statutory first offeuder for drunkenness appeared,, the Magistrate said accused's friends*complained thataccused could not keep off tho drhik. His AVorship thought it was in accused's own interest to send him to Jloto Bca. Accused .would bo declared an habitual drunkard, dud sent to Rota Kou for 12 months.
A first offender for drunkenness was convicted and discharged.
A statutory first offender, charged with, found drunk whilst °in charge of a horse and cart, was lined 20s. in default seven days' imprisonment.
