CHARGES AGAINST THE BRITISH.
LONDON. January 6. Alfred LoJimann, Jiddresiing tho Bremen Chamber of Commerce, accused the British of every tort ot crime, including the sinking of German vessels in neutral water*, the transporting ol" German women and children from West Africa in freight shins under ''niggers," and the dropping of bombs on unprotected towns. Ho also eusd they used dumdum bullets, and sold German intellect by tho suspension of the naten*. law.s.
Mr Lohmann is a son of onoi.of the two founders of the N.D.L. Company, which was begun by the union of the fleet; of .Messrs Meyer and Lohmann. Ho was an officer in one of tho crack German regiments, and resigned to enter commerce, forming t'ao wool firm of Welw and Lohmann. of Sydney, where Mr Lohmann resided for several years. The firm inaugurated the N.D.1., in Australia, and ultimately •Mr Lohmann returned to Bremen as a director of the company. His brother is A.D.C. to the Kaiser.
