(FJU-SS association telegram.) DUNEDIN, January 6. At Burnsdo to-day, _-10 fat cattle were yarded. This was a largo entry, but as butchers' supplies wero cleaned out, and free/Jrig buyers wero operating, prices ranged from par to 10s lower than last sale rates. Prim© bullocks made £13 to £lo 10s. extra primo to £20, medium to good £11 os. to £12, unfinished £0 to £10, primo t:on\s and heifers £12 10s to £]:. ss, extra to xj-t 125.6 d, medium £0 to £10 10s, others £6 to £8. There was a largo yarding of fat sheep, 2957 being penned, Tho entry consisted principally of ewes, very few pens of good quality wethers boing in. Prico for wethers' and good cvtes wero quite up to lato rate-;, hut medium ewes showed a dcclino of Is per head. Freezing buyers secured several trucks. Best wethers made 24s to 275, extra to 30s, medium 20s «d to 225. light 18s to IDs, best, ewes 22s to 245, extra, to 28s Od. medium 10s 10,175, others 13s 6d to los. Pat lalbibs—6so wore penned. Priceshowed a drop of 3s 2d per head on tho rates ruling at tho Christmas week sale. Best made 17s to 18s. extra to 20s 6d, medium 1-ls to I_._ Od, inferior 12* <3d to 13s 6d. Pig"-—sl fats and 79 fctorcs were yarded, and sold at late quotations.
