THE AFFAIR OF STEINBACH.
GERMANS SHOT FOR IRRESOLUTION.
PARIS. January o. The Germans shot thirty members of the Landeturm in tho public square at Steinhach because they were irresolute in the face of the French attacks. While evacuating Steinbach the Germans threw incendiary bombs on the houses, and in consequenco had to abandon tho first line of trenches, which caught fire owing to tho wind driving the flames from the burning houses back on them.
