.SYDNEY. December 22. In reply to Mr Masscy's enquiries, Uio Attorney-General informed the Now Zealand Government; that it could have ami hundred thousand bushels of whoat, provided that the New South Wales Government, in March next, could demand to haro that .quantity Kent back in the following; July. Ho 'explained: "If vro find by next March thut we will havo a. shortage. New Zealand will haro to get the one hundred thousand bushels it got from us from F.orno other part, but if our harvest is larger than is oxneeted, wo will not demand it back. - ' " Tho New Zealand Government replied accepting the terms and asking that tho wheat bo sent as quickly as possible. At present recruits in Australia arc joining in satisfactory numbers.
