(■pRF-Sf ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND. November 30. Sir Joseph Word, Leader of the Opposition, returned yesterday afternoon from a visit to Ngaruawahia, Hamilton and Cambridge. In the evening, he left by steamer for Whangarei. To-day ho is at Waipu, and to-night delivers an address in Whangarei. He returns to Auckland at seven o'clock to-morrow evening, • and proceeds at once to Devon port, where he "ill a public meeting. On Wednesday, S:r Joseph Ward leaves for Hnntly and addresses a meeting after the miners leave work at -1.1">. The Opposition Leader then returns to Pukekohe and addresses the electors in that centre of the Prime Minister's electorate ou Wednesday night. (press association telegram.) WHANGAREI. November 30. Sir Joseph Ward delivered a political address before a large audience in tho Town Hall to-night, "the County chairman. Mr J. 11. Melniies, presiding. Tho meeting was intensely enthusiastic, and at the conclusion a unanimous vote of confidence in the Liberal Party under Sir Joseph Ward, with the hope that he would be returned to power by a substantial majority at the forthcoming election, was carried, on the motion of Mr R. Thompson, seconded by Mr T. A. "Williams, the meeting dispersing after hearty cheers had been given for tho Opposition Leader. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TF.r.KGRAM.) HAMILTON, November 30. Sir Joseph Ward addressed a very large audience at Hamilton on Saturday afternoon. The greatest enthusiasm prevailed throughout, the speech being on the lines of that delivered at Auckland on Friday. At tho conclusion of the meeting a vote of confidence in the. Liberal Party was carried amid a great demonstration of choering.
