CITIZENS' DEFENCE CORPS.

TO THEKDITOR OF "THE FREBS." Sir. —1 think it would largely assist to get tho Corps quickly into drill form if the committee were to inaugurate daylight drills on Sunday mornings. The Drill Shed is totally inadequate to drill the large number who attend , , consequently the units are taken out into the dark and cannot obtain the instruction from the officers in a practical manner, that they would in the light. The men are eager to loam the new drill and attain efficiency as quickly as possible, but unless the .different movement*; can be learned from a competent instructor, instead of the wordy vocal directions in the dark, an unnecessary waste of time will ensue, which will bo unsatisfactory to men and instructors alike.—Yours, etc., XOR , -WESTER.
