"HUMPTY DUMPTY" PANTOMIME.

The pantomime season which commences at the Theatre Royal this evening under the direction of Messrs George Stephenson and Alf. Lin ley, promises something exceptional in tho matter of scenery. Mr Harry Whaitc has turned out some striking scenes. Tho most notable ones are "The Palaco of King Dazzluui",'* "Widow Buttercup's Farm,'' 'Tlie Bazaar at Dumpty Town," and the transformation in six scenes, "Dreamland." Many other attractions are promised, including a speciality by L-enuon. Hyman, and Lennon, entitled'"Fun in a .K-estaurant" and "The Egg,'' and tango ballots by a large "Corps do Ballet." trained by Miss Fthel Clifford. A novel march will be introduced entitled the "'Allies," showing the various nations in uniforms, which wero specially made in Sydney. Miss Olive Robinson, tho principal boy., will sing in conjunction with tho march a patriotic song, "New Zealand Will Be There." Owing to the limited season, "Flumpty Xhimpty'*' can only be played for three nights, as the tuneful musical extravaganza. "Tho Jam of Cathay," will also be produced. A matinee will be held on Wednesday, when special charges will be made for children. The box plan is at the Dresden.
