"Messrs J. C Fleming and Co., 57 Victoria street, Christchurch, had a particularly interesting exhibit of "Ei _P* marine engines, motor-boat, ' .Waterman outboard motors, Erd pump* ing plants, propellers, and motor-boat requisites. They also had on exhibition tho Active, a motor-boat which put up a record from Sumner to Akaroa and hack. Erd motors wero shown in _"£, 5, 7, 10, and 1. horso-power models, two .trohej and 25 honepower cycle model. This firm recently built and equipped tho Disturber, tho fastest motor-boat ia tho Dominion, having a 30 horeo-pewer Erd motor installed, and all theso interested in boats did well in gmng closo inspection to the fine display in M««rs J. G. Fleming 1 - tent, and in being again reminded that this firm build complete motor launches for all purposes.
