MORE COLLECTORS WANTED.
The collectors for tho Belgium Fund ate appealing for recruits for the invasion of tho Show Grounds to-day aiid to-morrow. Some Timaru ladies have . come up to assist, but tho whole force available is not considered to be sufficient to make tho best uso of the opportunities presented ,by shoAV days. Thoso willing to assist, even for ■an hour or tA\*o, are requested to communicate with the secretary. A Christchnrch lady lias given a gold bangle to bo sold, at auction, tho proceeds to go to swell the fond. Other' similar donations are invited. It is expected that tbo committee will yet be able to make use of tho offer of Mr Julius Knight and his company, to give a concert for the fund, though' permission to make, a c.liargo at a Sunday concert has been :efu-ed.
