gaol. , , f Harry Reeves, for drunkenness, was fined ss, ia default 24 hours' imprisonment. John Howard was fined 20s, in default seven days' imprisonment, on a charge- of being drunk whilst in charge of a carriage and pair in-Cashol streofc on Saturday. I Thomas Alexander Dobbie, for being disorderly while drunk, was lined 40s', in default one month's gaol.. Stephen Thomas Hamilton was fined. 10s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment, for drunkenness, and fined 20s. in . default seven days' for procuring liquor whilo prohibited. I Daniel Christie was convicted and discharged for drunkenness and procuring liquor whilo prohibited. REMANDED. i Thomas Stowart, on three charges of I procuring liquor, was remanded for a i week. • OBSCENE LANGUAGE. Joseph Smith, who was stated to havo a record, was convicted of drunkenness, and sentenced to ono month's i gaol, ior nsitvj; obscene language. j William Morrison was fined os, in ■ default, 24 hours' yaol, for drunkenness, and fined -iOs, m default ono month's gaol, for using obscene language. VAGRANCY. John Ingram, alias Melville, charged with being a roguo and vagabond, was convicted and ordered to como up for sentence- when called upon. THEFT. Colin Cameron, who was stated to have a record, was awarded threo months' hard labour on a charge of stealing a pair of boots valued at £1, the property of Robert Kirk. MAINTENANCE.
