WELLINGTON, November 7
Tho Mayor's room presented tho appearance of the receiving office of a bank yesterday, for every table was covered with money—notes, gold, silver, copper, and little round parcels of coin. It was some of the money collector! by tho schoolchildren on Guy Fawkes Day, and is to go to tho Belgium Fund. Tho amounts included: £'Sl3 collected by tho Clyde Quay school: from Kilbirnie, £19; from Rosoneath. £'12: from To Aro, £83; a;id from Mount Cook. £oL'. The headmaster of the Terrace School wrote to say that ho would be forwarding a *snni of about £-50. Many other amounts are yet to corao in. and the fund will gain by quite £100 by the efforts of tho children.
