ST. PAUL'S YOUNG PEOPLE'S SOCIETY.
Thf St. Paul's Presbyterian Young People's Society held its annual banquet last week, there being over uerentv membero and mends present. The Rev. 'J. Pateraou presided. After the usual loyal toast the followir.sr toasts were duly honoured: "Empire and Allies," proposed by Mr W. Roxburgh and responded t-o by Mr Adams*" ' xhe Sky Pilot," proposed hy Mr D. C. 'Burns and responded to by Rev. J. Paterson"Lieutenant and Aide-de-camp," proposed byMr X. H. Procter, responded to by Mr J. Tennent (Missioner) and Sister Elsie: "Our Friend* the Enemy," proposed by Miss H. Robert-son and responded to by Mi Torranoe (Knox) and Mr ¥. L. Andcreon (V.M.C.A.); "Sovereign Woman," proposed by Mr Jas. Stout and responded to by Mists J. McWhirter; "Mere Man," proposed by Mis 3 E. Burn and responded to by Mr \V. McKay "Our Prize Bantams," (juniore)' proposed by Miss W. Best and responded to by Mr L. Quartermain: "The Secretary," proposed by Mr Geo. Burn and responded to by Miss Rae Robertson. Items were contributed by Misses Paterson, R. Robertson, H. Robertson, acd L. Dcarsley, the Re-v. J. Paterson, and Mr Cropp. " Miss N. Wilson acted »» accompanist.
