LONDON, November 6. The entrenchments ' mado by the 7 Germans in East Prussia were extraordinarily elaborate. Officers had deen dug-outs with corridors leading to the nieas trenches. Their quarters wero like halls. A mansion built underground had rich carpets, bedsteads, and furniture taken from oountrj- houses during the retreat, and was also equipped with telephones. .*' .
