(Received November fUli. l-.10 am.) LONDON. November 7. Mr Martin Donoghuo says that in th*" a;. Armonticres and Arras, the enemy's attack -n;is completely shattered. \\ hole divi-.jous of Germans were decimated. Only forty 111011 and a corporal survived out of a lull regiment. The country round Armentiores was full of unbuned Gorman dead, whilo the wounded were lclt to the Allies' mercy.
The unchivalrous enemy tired on a Red Cross Brigade succouring them, and Germans in tree-tops sniped nt the stretcher-bearers. I'liimatoly machineguns were hied into the tree-tops, and brought down twenty sharpshooters. The British troops captured many isolated bands. They hud been subsisting on raw horseflesh, and eagerly stirroudered. The cold mists sweeping over Inlanders greatly affect the Germans. Disease is" making great inroads.
