Near Warsaw v peasant found huge mounds surmounted by crosses and German heluwts. as though Germans were buried beneath.
He dug down and discovered piles of ammunition and German quick-firers.
The High Commissioner reports:— LONDON. November 2. The Russians are continuing to drivo tho Germans westwards in Poland, and have occupied two important towns.
