The deceased arrived in Ljttelton v.-ith her husband in tho ship cjebastopol, in ISftJ, and I shortly after settled j n t [, o <^, sfc I trict, whero sho proved herself a pioneer of the right stamp. Sirs Anderson endeared herself to manr peopla cv awount of liex,unfaUjn£ kindness and she was ever an earnest worker on behalf of tao Presbyterian Church. She leaves a husband, j-ix sons, four daughters, twenty-three grandchildren and one greatgrandchild, to mourn their loss.
