PR OGRESS TO DATE,
The Mayor (Mr H. Holland) returned yesterday afternoon from a trip to Lake Coleridge, with Sir Ernest and Lady Rutherford. #
Speaking to .i "Press ,, representative on tho progress of the works, tho Mayor said that since his last visit all tho machinery had been placed in position, and everything now was in perfect order. The wholo of the plant in the power station was now complete. Unforeseen difficulties had been met with at the intake. The rock was of a broken nature, and would not allow the intake to be carried on as far as was intended. "Difficulties had also been met with in regard to the depth of shingle over tho rock.
