THE NEW ZEALAND PRESS CORRESPONDENT.
(SPECIAL TO "THE PRESS.'') WELLINGTON, October 29. The conditions of the appointment of tho correspondent for the New Zealand Press to accompany the New Zealand Force to the front was referred to again in the House of Representatives today. Previously it had been stated that Mr Guy H. Scholefiold, London correspondent for certain New Zealand newspapers, had been appointed, but the Prime Minister stated that he would enquire from the High Commissioner exactly- what tho terms of the appointment wore. Sir Joseph Ward asked whether the Prime Minister had received any information on the subject from the High Commissioner. Mr Massey said he had communicated with the High Commissioner, who had informed him by cable that he had expected that arrangements would be completed at this end. Mr Scholefield had been appointed on tho understanding that he would represent the whole of the Press of the Dominion. The arrangements would bo eonmleted as soon as the Government had a little leisure to attend to them. Sir Joseph Ward: Will the whole of the Press of the country get his services on equal terras? Mr Massey: If it is possible to complete the. arrangements; If it is impossible to make the arrangements with Sir Scholefield, then someone else will have to be appointed. /
