There v.-n? an appreciative audienco at the Sydenham Theatre last evening, when the change of programme was prer,..,.j. u ••The Bathe Gazette ..contained the latest of European war topics, Including Lord Roberts inspecting the -..ondon recruit*-, and exhibition of a captured German standard. Other interesting items wero those showing the enrolling of volunteers in England and the tributes of admiration paid to wounded Belgian and British soldiers. The ordinary programme contained a good selection of films, these comprising "A .Modern' Romeo" (comedy), "Cascades of the Pyrenees" (scenic), •'Angel of the Gulch" "'(Western drama,., "A Deal in Statuary"' (comedy), "Caught in Tights" (Keysrone comedy), and a star drama. "The Night ttideru of Petersham." Tho programme will bo repeated to-night.
