CANTERBURY PATRIOTIC FUND.

This fund i_ established with the following objects:— ■ ■ , (a.) To provide for tlioro depmdent ou out volunteers should it bo found necessary; (b) To aasiet volunteers returning physically unfit until ouch tim& as they aro again restored to health, aud (c) Generally to apply the fund_ in such manii-er as tho executive may deem necessary to alleviato suffering and d:e*tress caused by the present crisis. Donations may bo forwarded to his "Worehip the Mayor oi Christchurch, the Town Clerk, tho offico of "The Press," or to th* •secretary (Mr R. T.
