SATURDAY'S POULTRY MARKET.

Messrs J. B. Morrett and Co. obtained splendid prices at their poultry sale on Saturday. Supplies were not half

sufficient for the demand. Table chickens realised 5s t_ to 9s _d, hens __ Ou to Os Sd, ducks os 3d to 8_ -Id. pullets 4s to 8s Od, turkey gobblers 24s to 3__, turkey hens B_. to 10s, per pair.

Messrs A. B. Sands and Co. also secured big prices at Saturday's sale, not so many birds being yarded as on the previous week. Table chickens 4s 6d to 9_ per pair, pullets 3s 6d to 9s 3d, hens 3s 9d to Gs 4d; ducks os 6d to 7s 6d, hen and chickens 7s to 10s. Turkeys and geeso in good demand.
