AFTERNOON SITTING. The Council met at 2.30 p.ni A LIGHT ORDER PAPEBTko Hon. F. H. D. BELL stated that four Bills would bo brought forward on Friday—the Fruit Preserving Industry Act" Amendment. Local Elections and Polls, Harbours Act Amendment, and Victoria College Bills. He. proposed to rcovo tho second reading of those Bills pro forma aud have them referred to Committees. Ho then proposed to adjourn until Wednesday. Tne Council roso at 2.10 p.m.
