To-day the Minister in Charge of the Departaent (the Hon. F.MJ3. Fisher) replied io a volley of question** cv the subject. Mx Fisher assured bis questioners that up til) the present tho work in the cities aad towns had been done by tho postal authorities, and now the pclice v. ere going to begin in the country districts. He said tlrat the work had never before been carried' out ep satisfactorily as this year, and that ai tho end of tho year the Department hoped that the rolls would be in a better Mate thuii ever before, A difficulty was suggested Mr Poland.
