A CROATIAN PROTEST.
(PRESS ASSOCUTIO.V TEIECBAM.) NEW PLYMOUTH, July 30. A meeting of local Croatians this afternoon passed a resolution condemning the action of tho Austrian Consul in summoning Croatian Reservists to bo ready to defend Austria. They claim they are not Austrian subjects by free will, but by the point of the bayonet, and declare that they are now subject to the Union Jack, where they get justice and freedom.
