Tho new programme screened at the Sydenham Theatre last evening -attracted an interested and appreciative audience. Tho leading film was a drama, "A Fight for a Fortune," built on a detective story. This picture was a sequel to "The Black Thirteen," and it contained a long series of thrilling episodes, detailing a remarkable conflict between a clever gang of criminals and an equally clever detective, the latter finally gaining the. ascendancy. Excellent, supporting pictures .vere also shown. To-night the programme will be repeated.
