YESTERDAY'S POULTRY MARKET.
There was an entry of 300 birds in J. B. Merrett's Poultry Saleyarde yesterday, and prices were high. Table chickens realised 4s 3d to 9s 2d, pullets 3s to 9s, hens 2e 6d to 5s 6d. ducks 5s -6d to 8s 4d, geeso 7s 3d, turkeys 12s to 245, per pair. Canterbury Egg Circle ejres realised:—First grade Is 4d to Iβ sd, seconds Iβ 3d to Is 4d, etoro eggs Iβ 2d to Iβ 3d per dozen.
