ADVANCE IN PRICES. Owing to tho continued high prices ruling for all classes of live 6tock, but moro especially sheep, the Christchurch butchers have decided that, in order to recoup themselves for their outlay, the prico of all classes of meat shall hie increased as from to-day.

For somo timo the members of the trade havo been considering the position, and ultimately it was decided that the only thing to do was to pass on tho increased cost to tho consumers.
