ELLESMERE.

Four well-known residents of the Ellesmere district, Mesers W.- Gilbert (Dunsandel), G. Gilbert (Southbridge), H. E. Fincham (Sedgemere), and . WSilvester (Southbridge) returned on Thursday evening from a weeks-visit to Otago. Whilo in the south Mr W. Gilbert purchased a four-year-old Clydesdale colt from Mr Donald Macdonald, of Edendale." The colt, whose name is Dunure Coral, was imported from the Old Country, 4 * and he is said to be a good specimen of the breed.
