Field, editor of a ' San Francisco magazine-, Fowler, an aviator, and two others have been arrested upon a charge of disclosing military secrets. Fowler aeroplaned over the Panama •Canal forts, and wrote an article pointing out the inadequacy of the defences against as air attack. Field published the article, and the Department of War ordered the aa> reste. . v . • It is the first,prosecution of its kind ever heard of. '
