OVERSEA OBLIGATIONSLONDON, July 9. Sir Georgo Reid, tho Hon. T. Mackenzie, and the Hon. G. H. Perley (Canada) interviewed Mr Lloyd Georgo in tho presenco of Mr Harcourt and Treasury officials. Tho High Commissioners clearly and firmly voiced the Dominions' objections to clause" 5 of the Finance Bill, and Ai*oro satisfied with their reception. Mr Lloyd George's reply fully encouraged tho hope that the desires of the overseas people would be recognised. The matter will be further discussed to-morrow.
