A MAORI STABBED.
(PRESS ASSOCIATIOS TELEGRAM.)' TE KUITI, July 10. At the Police Court, a Maori named Kati was charged assault, causing actual bodily harm to another Maori, Peter Wi. He was remanded for a week, as the injured man was unable to appear. The affair is stated to have been the result of a squabble, in which accused was' alleged to have used o knife, Wi being stabbed twice in the throat.
