Tho Court of Appeal of British Columbia unanimously decided against the Hindoos aboard the Komagata Maru being allowed to land. The Court held that tbo Order-in-Council prohibitiiy* the admission of Asiatics was good and had full effect. Tho Hindoos did-not possess the necessary amount of money to permit them to land in Canada; they had not made a direct journey to the country; and tho majority were unskilled labourers, and, thorefore, temporarily barred under any circumstances. commission"asked for.
